Situated in a low-lying position near a stream. This is a masonry corbelled structure (ext. diam. 2.15m; ext. H 1.6m) which contains a circular chamber and water-filled depression (diam. 0.77m) with a doorway to the W. There is a record of a possible bullaun stone with two basins (Blaney 1944, file no. 136) which could not be found in 1991. Coolkill church (LE024-0024001-) is c. 250m to the NE.
