Situated on the N bank of a W-E stream c. 150m W of its junction with a N-S stream and c. 50m E of the site of a farmhouse in a coniferous forest. It is marked only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map. The remains of a rectangular stone-built structure (int. dims 2.5m E-W; 1.7m N-S; H 0.5m) with an opening (Wth 0.7m) at S survive. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
