Located on a steep S-facing slope in the fork of the junction of two N-S streams and c. 50m W of Stralongford bridge. It is marked only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map with a house c. 50m to the NE. No feature is visible at ground level in a coniferous forest. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
