Located at the bottom of a gentle N-facing slope at the junction with flatter land. It is marked as a sweat house only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map with two houses 125m to the SE and c. 170m to the SSE. No feature is visible at ground level apart from a slight hollow (diam. c. 2m) in scrub.
