What is recorded here

Located towards the top of the N-facing slope of a drumlin in a coniferous forest. This is a sandstone boulder (dims 2.5m x 2.6m; max. H 0.9m) with six circular basins (diam. 0.21-0.28m; D 0.08-0.14m) on its upper surface along the E edge of the stone along the E edge. See the attached view taken from the SW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
