What is recorded here

Situated on top of a low drumlin. This is a grass-covered subcircular area (dims 32m E-W; 27m N-S) defined by a low scarp (H 0.2m) NE-E and SW-W with the perimeter incorporated into a field bank and hedge W-NE, but the monument is truncated by an ENE-WSW field bank at S. There is a entrance (Wth 3m) at NE, visible as a slight dip in the perimeter. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 23 September 2008

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
