Built in the W bank of a N-S stream. It is marked only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map with no houses in the vicinity, although a farm complex is marked on the 1835 edition c. 100m to the SSE. The roof has collapsed and the chamber is inaccessible, but the entrance (Wth 0.55m; H 0.6m) facing the stream still survives.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
