What is recorded here

Located on top of an E-W drumlin ridge. This is a grass-covered D-shaped area (int. dim. 21.8m NE-SW; 10m NW-SE) with the straight side at SE defined by the grass-covered foundations of a stone wall (Wth. 1.7-2m; max. H 0.2m) SW-W-NE which has been removed elsewhere. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 23 September 2008

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
