Situated on a local prominence on the S bank of an E-W section of the Bonet River. This is a grass-covered D-shaped area (dims 29m ESE-WNW; 18m NNW-SSE) defined by a scarp with a few bushes, which is best preserved (H 1m) E-S. A short section of bank (Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.4m) survives ESE-SE and there are traces of an external fosse (Wth of top 7.5m; ext. D 0.2m) SW-W. An original entrance is not identified. The monument is truncated by the river at N and a defunct railway line from Sligo and Dromahaire to Manorhamilton and Enniskillen is just to the S.
