Situated on flat, rush-covered and low-lying ground at the base of the S-facing slope of a drumlin. It is depicted as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 35m) on the 1835 edition of the OS 6-inch map where it is described as a fort. No feature is visible at ground level in improved pasture.
