Situated in reclaimed pasture towards the bottom of a S-facing slope. This is a grass-covered subcircular area (dims 24.5m E-W; 21m N-S) defined by a slight bank (Wth 4m; H 0.1-0.2m) at E and by a scarp (max. H 0.8m) elsewhere, but the perimeter is incorporated into a field bank and hedge W-NNW.
