Indicated as a sweat house only on the 1835 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It is situated at the top of a S and E-facing slope on the N bank of a W-E stream that is on the lower E-facing slope of Thur Mountain and within 200m of abandoned farmhoues to the E and S. No feature is visible at ground level.
