What is recorded here

John O'Donovan writing in the 1830s recorded the name of a well - Tober Padraig - in the townland of Lughawnagh (Flanagan 1929, 132), and Faughnan (1943) says it is on the land of Hugh Mc Cordick, but even then it was not remembered beyond its name. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 5 May, 2016

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
