What is recorded here

Situated in an undulating landscape on the floor of the Glenfarne valley. The church listed in the Register of Clonmacnoise (LE012-013001-) (O'Donavan1857, 451) was probably located within the subrectangular graveyard (LE012-013002-) depicted on the 1835 and 1910 eds of the OS 6-inch map. The graveyard is located in the S part of an oval enclosure (dims c. 100m WNW-ESE; c. 60m NNE-SSW) defined by a widely spread earthen bank or scarp, which could be an ecclesiastical enclosure.
