What is recorded here

Located on a hillock at the NW-facing foothills of Benbo Mountain. Grass and scrub-covered circular area (int. diam. 23m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (int. H 0.25m; ext. H 1.9m at NW) separated by a fosse (Wth of base 1.85m) from an outer earthen bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 0.3m). There is no identifiable original entrance. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
