Located on the tip of a SE-NW spur, which is at the NW edge of a steep-sided and prominent plateau. Grass-covered circular area (diam. 30m E-W; 29m N-S) with outcrop visible in the interior defined by a stone spread (Wth 2.1m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.65m) which is reduced to an internal scarp at S. The original entrance is not identified. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
