What is recorded here

Located at the summit of a steep-sided and prominent hillock. This is a grass and scrub-covered oval platform (dims 36m E-W; 29.5m N-S) defined by a slight scarp (H 0.1-0.2m) with bushes. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, although it was probably a rath. Archaeological testing (05E1051) c. 75m to the NW no related material (Timoney 2008). The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
