Towards the bottom of the S-facing slope of Glencar valley, with a ravine (D c. 10-15m) immediately to the E. Grass-covered circular platform (diam. 35m N-S; 34.2m E-W) defined by a steep scarp (H 1.2m at N; 2m at W; 3.5-4m at S, downslope). The original entrance is not identified. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
