On a N-facing slope of a S-N spur. Two concentrations of stones inside the perimeter of the cashel (LE005-01801-) at E (dims 6m NE-SW; 4m NW-SE) and S (dims c. 7m E-W; c. 4-5m N-S) are contained within a D-shaped enclosure (dims 37m NW-SE; 26m NE-SW) defined by a double-faced drystone wall which is most substantial (Wth 1.4-1.8m; max. H 1.4m) SW-NW, but declines to a stone spread (Wth 1.5m) at SE. The enclosure backs on to a NW-SE field bank and drain at NE, which is the townland boundary with Conray, and was used as a children's burial ground (Faughnan 1943, file no. 126).
