Within Conwal graveyard LE003-008002-) is a grave-cover or prone headstone (LE003-008004-) with the date 1722, a carving of a horseman, and an inscription in false relief within a border. A second prone headstone (dims 1.1m x 0.6m) was identified and recorded by Gary Dempsey who reads the worn inscription as: HERE LYET THE BODY OF | HVGH McLEON WH |O DYED THE SIXTH |OF MARCH | ONE T| HOVSAND SEVE | N HVNDRED AND |TWENTY NIN |E 1729.
