What is recorded here

A natural hill with rock outcrop protruding. Quarrying has taken place at NE. Not an archaeological monument. A previous report describes the site as a rath consisting of a 'circular area surrounded by a very low earthen bank with no trace of a possible fosse. The maximum height of the bank is 0.35m. The diameter is 31.5m. Two small, low banked earthen enclosures abutt the rath on the east and south-west. The larger of the two, on the east measures 24.0m by 11.40m and the bank height is 0.30m. The smaller enclosure measures 13.3mm by 8.50m and has a similar bank height. Projecting from the end of this enclosure is a further bank running off in a south-westerly direction for approximately 10m before it fades out; this is very low, being no more than 0.24m high. The land to the south-east, south and south-west of this complex is very uneven and much disturbed, so that while there might be more to the field system (LA035-026002-), it cannot be determined with any confidence' (Candon 1987, 30).
