Unlocated cross-inscribed stone described by Comerford as 'About two miles south of Clopoke is an ancient place of interment (LA034-043), called Shanavally (old town). On a mountain flag-stone is traced the device of a Celtic cross, the rest of the stone being left in the rough. Local tradition assigns this to mark the grave of a bishop'(Comerford 1886, vol. 3, 130). Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien Date of upload: 17 December 2007
