No local tradition of one (Carrigan 1905, vol. 2, 240). Situated on a rise with good views of the surrounding countryside. No visible surface remains of church site located in interior of ringfort (LA034-028001-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
