Carrigan (1905, vol. 2, 57) refers to a church site and graveyard, within which were numerouse uninscribed headstones, enclosed by a large earthen bank. Not marked on the 1841 edition of the OS 6-inch map, and no surface remains of a church or graveyard survive. The enclosing bank is visible from NNW-E. The S half is partky levelled and is indicated by a slight rise in ground level.
Described by Carrigan as 'The church of Dairy Hill has entirely disappeared. The churchyard of Dairy Hill is about an Irish acre in area, and is enclosed by a great earthen fence. It is now all overgrown with bushes. The graveyard was last used for the interment of an adult about 1820; it is now only used as a burial place for unbpatized children' (Carrigan 1905, vol. 2, 56-7).
