An oval-shaped area (dims. c. 86m N-S, 64m E-W) defined by a very low bank at E and W, and by a scarp at N. Traces of the fosse and outer bank are visible at E, as well as the possible original entrance. No other visible surface remains. Originally known as 'the Fort of the Brake', it was ploughed in 1855 (Carrigan 1905, vol. 2, 179-80).
