In an upland area. Reference to a building or possible castle here inside the ringfort (LA021-03001-). No visible surface remains of castle marked on the Down Survey (1654-7) map (NLI, MS 720). Described by Carrigan as 'At one of the corners is a small chamber about 5 ft. square, its walls about 3 ft. thick. This is probably the site of Killismestia castle, which is entered on their maps by the Down Surveyors' (Carrigan 1905, vol. 2, 141).
