What is recorded here

Some uninscribed grave markers visible in graveyard enclosing medieval church (LA019-031001-). All other headstones are post 1700 AD. Sub-rectangular shaped graveyard (int. dims. 52m N-S; 40m E-W) with church in N quadrant. Graveyard contains 18th and 19th century memorials. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 17 December 2007
