Lying c. 20m S of holy well (LA019-030001-). Natural spring given curative properties by St Patrick (Comerford 1886, vol. 3, 126). Situated in a marshy area. Described in the History of Queens
County as 'Near Ballyadams grave-yard (LA019-031001-) and within a copse wood are two wells; one of these is called Toberneeve (LA019-030001-) and the other Tobernasool' (O'Hanlon and O'Leary 1907, vol. 3, 184).
