On very high ground overlooking valley. St. Colman Ban may have founded an early church here. He is commemorated on the 19th October (O'Hanlon and O'Leary 1907, vol. 1, 244-5). A late medieval church (LA018-002-) with divided nave and chancel built with rough limestone blocks randomly coursed. All visible headstones post date 1700 AD. Roughly D-shaped graveyard (int. dims. 35m N-S; 40m E-W) enclosed by a stone wall containing post 1700 AD memorials. Church in centre of graveyard.
