Unlocated horizontal watermill within townland it was discovered in 1952 when the understructure of a horizontal mill under the bog at Morett. The remains consisted of the wheelhouse itself, a large trough to conduct the water to the wheel house and the dam. It was constructed entirely of oak, and in an exceptional state of preservation. The pivot stones in which the shaft turned were found (Feehan 1983, 334).
