Historic town of Stradbally and which is described in a grant dated to 1596 which was issued at Maryborough and confirms that 'Francis Cosby, late of Stradbally, was seized of the fee, of the site and of the circuit, lately belonging to the brothers at Stradbally, with a water-mill in the same village …..
