Situated on S-facing slope on high ground NW of deserted medieval village (LA013-051001-). Slightly dished circular area (diam. c. 17m) defined by an earth and stone bank (H c. 1m) and external fosse. Fosse (Wth c. 3m) best defined at N. Entrance at NE. Sally's Bower has been previously described as a tree ring (Urban Survey 1986, 24).
