New monument uncovered during excavation by Jonathan Dempsey under licence number 03E1624 in advance of the M7 Heath-Mayfield motorway scheme. A heavily truncated corn-drying kiln was located immediately to the N of a burial (LA008-060). This keyhole shaped feature measured 3.21m in length and was orientated ENE/WSW. The base of the drying bowl was located at the WSW (Bennett 2006, 296-7). Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien Date of upload: 17 December 2007
