The S portion of a possible rectangular earthwork (C c. 50m SE-SW) is hachured on the 1841 edition of the OS 6-inch map and indicated only as a field fence on later editions No visible surface remains.
Archaeological testing in the vicinity of this monument was carried out by Martin Doody in 2003 under excavation licence no. 03E0642.
