Unlocated fortification within the townland of Tinnahinch that is mentioned in the Annals of the Four Masters Vol. 5 p. 1503, under the year 1547 when the Lord Justice and his forces erected a 'fortification in Leix around Badhun-Riaganach (Bawn Regan), where they left forces to oppose O'Connor and O'More'.
