Only W gable and N wall survive of this featurelss rubble limestone-built church (dims. 20.3m E-W, 8.6m N-S). Three Early Christian cross-slabs (LA003-003003/004/005-) formerly located against NW angle of church have been moved to Rosenallis RC church (O'Hanlon and O'Leary 1907, vol. 1, 307; O'Flanagan, M (ed) 1933, 204). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
