What is recorded here

Graves (1850-1, 131) records that 'A short time since there existed on the lands of the widow Follis, in the townland of Jerpoint-hill, another remain of this nature [i.e. similar to the destroyed tomb in the townland of Derrynahinch], known as Leaba Fianna, "the Fiann's or Giant's Bed." This . . . has lately been obliterated'. There is no surviving local tradition of this monument and its precise location within the townland is unknown. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
