On a slight E-facing slope in pasture. Excavated in 2007 in advance of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme (Licence no. E3627). A possible structure comprising a rectangular area (4m x 2m) defined by three post-holes and two adjacent possible slot-trenches. A number of isolated pits and hearths were also found. The pits and hearths may be associated with a large ceremonial and habitation site dating from the Bronze Age to the early medieval period (KK031-075---- to KK031-088----) that lay immediately to the S. A figure-of-eight kiln was also found in the SW corner of the excavated area. (Walsh 2010, 234, no. 882; Walsh and Coughlan 2013)
