In tillage. A sub-rectangular bawn (dims. c. 74m NE-SW; c. 53m NW-SE at S end, tapering to c. 41m at the N end), visible as a cropmark on satellite imagery (Google Earth, imagery date 24 March 2017; Tailte Éireann, 2001 to 2005 MapGenie) identified and reported by Deon Walsh. Castle Columb Castle, a tower house (KK031-016----), is within the interior, near the W angle, being c. 7m N of the SW line of the bawn and c. 13m E of its NW line.
