On a slight S-facing slope at the SW edge of a wood within Garryrickin House demesne. There are trees growing in the interior and around the perimeter. A roughly circular area (int. diam. 28m NW-SE) enclosed by a bank (Wth 3m; int. H 1.5m), external flat-bottomed fosse (4m; D 1.5m) and outer bank (Wth 4m; ext. H 1m), the latter survives from SSW-ESE. There are gaps in the bank at the NW and SE.
