On a NW-facing slope in pasture. A roughly circular enclosure (overall diam. c. 40m) is indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map, though a field boundary runs NW-SE through the S portion and the monument is not indicated S of the boundary. It is not indicated on the 1948-9 revision OS 6-inch map, however, the outline of the monument is visible on OSi satellite imagery (imagery date 2006 to 2012).
