In the E portion of a graveyard (KK027-046002-) which encloses the medieval church (KK027-046001-) of Stonecarthy. A long narrow tapering limestone head-slab (L 2.1m; Wth at top 0.55m; Wth at base 0.3m) which lies partially embedded in the ground. The upper corners are damaged and the upper surface is quite brittle. It is decorated with a badly eroded male head which stands out in bold relief from the surface of the stone and below this are the remains of a much eroded cross, in relief, with a fleur-de-lis terminal at the base of the shaft.
