Associated with the medieval church of Newtown Earley (KK027-012001-) but not included in the catalogue of graveslabs from Newtown Earley described by Harte (1987, 408-17), most of which were uncovered during a clean-up of the graveyard (KK027-012009-) in 1985-7.
Described by Carrigan (1905, vol. 3, 327) as a, 'coffin-shaped uninscribed slab of the 13th century, with incised cross having two tranverse bars, after the manner of Archiepiscopal pectoral crosses. This is said, but incorrectly, to have been placed over the grave of Milo Sweetman, Archbishop of Armagh from 1361 to 1380'. The graveslab was within the church when visited by Carrigan (ibid.).
