Associated with the medieval church of Newtown Earley (KK027-012001-). A large number of graveslabs were uncovered during a clean-up of graveyard (KK027-012009-) in 1985-7 (Harte 1987, 408-17). These are currently lying within the interior of the church.
The lower portion of a graveslab (surviving L 0.5m; Wth 0.3m; Wth 0.35m where broken below centre of slab) with a chamfered edge. It is illustrated by Harte (1987, 411), with dimensions, but does not have a catalogue number or description. The illustration shows a cross-shaft, with knop above a simple fleur-de-lys terminal. Stylistically this graveslab dates to the 13th/14th century.
