A tapering limestone slab (L 1.86m; Wth at top 0.65m; Wth at base 0.49m; T min. 0.08m) lying prostrate in the N aisle of the nave of St Mary’s church (KK026-010012-), Callan. It is decorated in raised relief with a six-armed cross with unusual cross terminals. There is a knop beneath the cross-head and the cross-shaft terminates with a plain stepped base. The straight sides are decorated with punch-tooling, that on the dexter side is finer than that on the sinister side. There is no visible inscription. Stylistically this graveslab dates to the 13th/14th century.
