The upper portion of a tapering limestone slab (L 1.18m; Wth at top 0.68m; Wth just below centre 0.51m) lying prostrate in the N aisle of the nave of St Mary’s church (KK026-010012-), Callan. Decorated with a four-armed cross, in raised relief, with trefoil terminals, the arms of the cross meet at a circle in the centre. The edge of the upper surface of the slab is defined by a raised moulding. Stylistically this graveslab dates to the 13th/14th century.
