In the graveyard (KK024-062002-) of Tullaherin, immediately S of the S wall of the medieval church (KK024-062001-), outside the E end of the nave. Associated with church and cross are a round tower (KK024-062004-) and two ogham stones (KK024-062005-; KK024-062009-). This is incorrectly classified as a font (KK024-062006-) in the SMR (1987). A plain sandstone roughly formed cross-base which tapers towards the top (total H 0.56m; Wth at base 0.58m; D at base 0.44m; Wth at top 0.48m; D at top 0.38m) which steps in (Wth 0.03-0.04m) at the top (H 0.05m; Wth 0.42m; D 0.26m). A mortise (dims. 0.27m x 0.13m; D 0.12m) in its upper surface received the tenon of the shaft.
