What is recorded here

Overgrown with trees and scrub and surrounded by a small forestry plantation. It is indicated on the 6-inch OS map as being in an area of gorse (furze or whins) with a long narrow pond (L c. 155m; max. Wth c. 12m) c. 90m to the S. Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and on the 1899-1902 revision as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 38m). There is another enclosure (KK024-055----) immediately to the W and another (KK024-056----) c. 130m to the SW.
