Identified as a possible rectangular enclosure (dims. c. 120m E-W) defined by two concentric fosses visible as cropmarks on an aerial photograph (CUCAP AYK066, 9 July 1969). The S portion of the enclosure, S of a roughly E-W running field boundary, is more visible (dims. c. 40m N-S). The outer fosse (L c. 20m) is visible running N of the field boundary on the E side. The enclosure is within Bennettsbridge limestone quarry and on satellite imagery it appears to have been much disturbed, at least partially quarried out, with a quarry road running NW-SE through it (Google Earth, imagery date 25 April 2021).
