On a slight N-facing slope on an undulating plain. Excavated in 2007 in advance of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road improvement scheme (Licence no. E3538). A small, circular pit filled with a charcoal-rich deposit containing cremated bone. Three stake-holes, a pit and a possible hearth were clustered around the cremation. A larger pit overlapped it and may have contained a marker stone. (Devine 2010, 240-41, no. 902; Devine and Sygut 2009)
